Piriton Syrup - 150ml

The syrup contains the active ingredient chlorphenamine maleate. Chlorphenamine belongs to a group of drugs called antihistamines which help relieve the symptoms of some allergies and itchy skin rashes.

The syrup is used to treat the allergic symptoms (runny and itchy nose, with or without stuffiness) caused by hayfever and other allergies e.g. pet and house dust mite allergies. It relieves itchiness, redness, swelling, tenderness and irritation.

Do not take if you have taken a MAOI (type of antidepressant) within the last 2 weeks.

Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if:

• You are taking any other medication,
• You have epilepsy, glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, an overactive thyroid, very high blood pressure, heart or liver or lung disease,
• You are pregnant or breast feeding.

Do not give to children under 2 years of age. Do not exceed Maximum daily dose.

Warning do not use this product with other cough and cold medicines.
