Piriton Allergy Tablets - 30 Tablets

Piriton Allergy Tablets contain the active ingredient chlorphenamine maleate. Chlorphenamine belongs to a group of drugs called antihistamines which help relieve the symptoms of some allergies and itchy skin rashes.

The tablets are used to treat the allergic symptoms (runny or itchy nose with or without stuffiness) caused by hayfever and other allergies e.g. pet and house dust mite allergies. They relieve itchiness, redness, swelling, tenderness and irritation associated with many skin problems.

Do not take if you have taken a MAOI (a type of antidepressant) within the last 2 weeks.

Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if:

• You have epilepsy, glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, an overactive thyroid, high blood pressure, heart or liver or lung disease,
• You are pregnant or breast feeding,
• You are taking any other medication.

Do not give to children under 6 years of age.

May cause drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery if affected. Avoid alcohol.
